As they say there are two sides to EVERY story...

Sorry, what this was supposed to be a very excellent video on how, through the Somalian "piracy" the Kenyans are now able to reclaim and sustain their fishing industries. It was sent to me by a friend two days ago, and I went to post it yesterday, but YouTube had removed it. I was disappointed, but not surprised. In the video, the Kenyan fisherman were celebrating and rejoicing. They repeatedly mentioned that before the actions of the Somalis, you would have several large foreign ships from Europe, Saudi Arabia, Japan, etc. that would come off the Kenyan coast. These ships would virtually deplete the seas of fish and other ocean life that the Kenyans would use for food, and economic sustainence. It must be understood that for many years, these ships would come to the east African coast, unchecked, unmonitored, and unregulated. We must really reexamine the viewpoint that the white media has given us about the Somali "pirates". All of these foreign vessels that have been "hijacked" are the ones who have unabashedly ventured into Somalia's territorial waters. Many of these white nations and other invaders are infuriated by the fact that these Africans have the nerve to actually defend their own coastlines. As a result, they have equipped their predatory vessels with naval escorts, and/or secretly carrying special forces personnel on their vessels disguised as sailors and deckhands; in order to capture the "pirates". In other words, the whites are defending their "right" to pillage the east African coast, while the Somali and Kenyan people struggle and starve. Anyone who challenges this "right", will be tried as a "pirate" and should be convicted. Strangely, the Kenyan government, whose people have benefitted greatly from the actions of the Somalis(besides ridding the coast of pillagers, many of the Somali reinvest their earnings into profitable businesses in the Kenyan cities; of course, the white nations are complaining about this as well) are also the same people that the white and foreign governments have chosen to try the captured Somali "pirates". It will be interesting to see how that plays out. Honestly, so what if Kenya is "awash with Somali cash" as one article put it. Because of the Somali, the Kenyan fishing industry has been reborn, and the border towns are becoming economically strong. What else should they do? Get another IMF loan? Apply for some whimsical aid for Africa program (where they harvest food from Africa, process it, and sell it back to Africans in the form of aid)? I sure that is what the white and foreign nations would have them do, besides being self-sufficient. Bottom line, any Black person or people who are willing to stand up and claim what is THEIRS in this system of white privilege/racism should be commended and saluted. Peace to the Somali Coast Guard!
